IntroductionThe study explores the role of endothelial Semaphorin 7A (SEMA7A) in inflammatory processes. SEMA7A is known for enhancing inflammation during tissue hypoxia and exhibiting anti-inflammatory properties in the intestinal system during colitis.

Twin‐arginine translocation D (TatD) homologs are found across all kingdoms, with debated roles in DNA degradation and protein quality control in unicellular organisms. We characterize TATDN1, the mammalian TatD orthologue, as a proteostatic stress‐responsive cytosolic protein dispensable for DNA degradation.

Sympathetic nerve innervation promotes the progression of Epstein‐Barr virus‐positive diffuse large B‐cell lymphoma (EBV+ DLBCL) via β2‐adrenergic receptors. The discovery of enhanced nerve infiltration and β2AR expression reveals a novel mechanism and highlights the sympathetic–β2AR axis as a promising target for therapeutic intervention in EBV+ DLBCL.

SEMA7A-mediated juxtacrine stimulation of IGFBP-3 upregulates IL-17RB at pancreatic cancer invasive front. [PDF]
Tumor invasion is the hallmark of tumor malignancy. The invasive infiltration pattern of tumor cells located at the leading edge is highly correlated with metastasis and unfavorable patient outcomes. However, the regulatory mechanisms governing tumor malignancy at the invasive margin remain unclear.

The Semaphorin 3E (Sema3E)‐Plexin‐D1 pathway mediated by C/EBPα and C/EBPβ downstream of the luteinizing hormone (LH) surge plays important roles in the mouse preovulatory ovary. Timely activation and suppression of this pathway during the preovulatory stage are crucial for ovulation, corpus luteum formation, and proper angiogenesis.

Investigating the role of Semaphorin7a in paracetamol induced liver injury [PDF]
Paracetamol (Acetaminophen, APAP) overdose is responsible for 46% of drug induced liver injury in the Western world, causing 200 deaths in the UK and 500 deaths in the USA per annum. The current treatments for APAP overdose are NAcetyl-Cysteine, which is

The functions of semaphorins in the adult brain are poorly understood. Here the authors show that Sema7A carries out stage-specific functions in the adult hippocampus via differential receptor usage; in progenitor cells, Sema7A inhibits proliferation via
