Natural Product Research, 2021 Three glycosylated stilbenes (1–3), two anthraquinones (4, 5), one lignan (6), five tannins (7–11), two amino acids (12, 13), and one auronol (14) were isolated from the root of Ampelopsis japonica. Bioscience, Biotechnology, and Biochemistry, 2012 Glechoma hederacea L. (Labiatae) has been used in folk medicine to treat various ailments for centuries. We investigated the effects of G. hederacea extract on melanogenesis in B16 melanoma cells. It significantly reduced both the cellular melanin content and tyrosinase activity in a concentration-dependent manner.
