The final leaf length of maize (Zea mays) was reduced due to the pathogenic fungus Fusarium verticillioides infection as a result of increased expression of miR396 in the elongation zone and decreased expression of miR319 in the mature zone of maize leaves, leading to antagonistic regulation of the expression of the GRF15 and TCP38, respectively ...

ABSTRACT Soybean (Glycine max) is an important crop for its nutritional value. Its wild relative, Glycine soja, provides a valuable genetic resource for improving soybean productivity. Root development and differentiation are essential for soybean plants to take up water and nutrients, store energy and anchor themselves.

Targeted modulation of IGFL2‐AS1 reveals its translational potential in cervical adenocarcinoma
Cervical adenocarcinoma patients face worse outcomes than squamous cell carcinoma counterparts despite similar treatment. The identification of IGFL2‐AS1's differential expression provides a molecular basis for distinguishing these histotypes, paving the way for personalized therapies and improved survival in vulnerable populations globally.

Several types of non-coding RNAs such as circRNAs, lncRNAs, and miRNAs have been identified to regulate mRNAs through the mechanism known as the competitive endogenous RNA (ceRNA) network. To explore the role of the ceRNA regulatory network in the immune

ABSTRACT Background Circular RNA (hsa_circ_0070354), also known as circPTPN13, was demonstrated in our previous study that it can be used as a biomarker for diagnosing non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). However, the mechanism of its role in the occurrence and development of NSCLC has not been investigated.

Construction of ceRNA regulatory networks for active pulmonary tuberculosis
AbstractDelayed diagnosis in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis (PTB) often leads to serious public health problems. High throughput sequencing was used to determine the expression levels of lncRNAs, mRNAs, and miRNAs in the lesions and adjacent health lung tissues of patients with PTB.

MIR503HG was downregulated in sepsis and sepsis‐induced cardiac dysfunction (SICD) and served as a diagnostic biomarker. Overexpression of MIR503HG attenuated myocardial injury and systemic inflammation in a septic rat model. Mechanistically, MIR503HG acted as a ceRNA by sponging miR‐497‐5p to upregulate BDNF, revealing a protective MIR503HG/miR‐497‐5p/

The MALAT1/miR‐30b‐5p/BAFF axis is activated in monocytes during NMOSD onset and relapse. The MALAT1/miR‐30b‐5p/BAFF axis is activated in monocytes, thereby facilitating the release of BAFF and inflammatory cytokines (including IL‐1, IL‐6, IL‐8, and TNF‐α).

Roles of long non‐coding RNAs in gestational diabetes mellitus: Mechanisms and biomarker potential
Upregulated lncRNAs in GDM Some key lncRNAs (MALAT1, MEG8, SOX2OT and …) show higher expression in GDM. Downregulated lncRNAs in GDM Some key lncRNAs (HCG27, GASS, Pax AS1 and …) show lower expression in GDM. Mechanistic roles lncRNAs regulate trophoblast proliferation, insulin signalling, neonatal and offspring health and other complications related ...
