Isolation of Ellagitannin Monomer and Macrocyclic Dimer from Castanopsis carlesii Leaves [PDF]
In a phytochemical and chemotaxonomical investigation of Castanopsis species (Fagaceae), new monomeric and dimeric ellagitannins, named carlesiins A (1) and B (2), were isolated from fresh leaves of Castanopsis carlesii along with 55 known compounds ...

The Supporting Role of Natural Products as Effective Adjuvants in Cancer Immunotherapy
Natural products, as multi‐target and low‐toxicity adjuvants, enhance immune checkpoint inhibitor responses and reduce immune‐related adverse events through T cell reprogramming, microenvironment remodeling, and microbiota‐immune modulation. ABSTRACT Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) have revolutionized the treatment landscape of malignant tumors ...

Compositional and sensory characterization of grape proanthocyanidins and oak wood ellagitannin
Aimed at increasing our knowledge on the astringency of sensory-active non-volatiles compounds migrating principally from grapes and from oak wood into the wine, grape extracts and an aqueous ethanolic extract from oak wood chips were used for their key ...

Dimeric ellagitannins in plants of melastomataceae.
Six novel ellagitannins, four of which are dimers mutually correlated in their structures, have been isolated from Tibouchina semidecandra, and Medinilla magnifica. Their structures were elucidated based on spectral and chemical evidence.

Syntheses of All-Methylated Ellagitannin, Isorugosin B and Rugosin B
application/pdfEllagitannins possess a wide range of biological activities and remarkable structural diversity, which commonly include an axially chiral biaryl unit. This paper describes syntheses of all-methylated versions of isorugosin B and rugosin B,
