Geschmack- und gesundheitsrelevante Qualität von ökologisch angbauten Äpfeln: Eine 3jährige Feldvergleichsstudie mit standard- und ganzheitlichen Untersuchungsmethoden [PDF]
In a 3 years lasting field study with the ‘Golden Delicious’ cultivar, we compared fruits of 5 pairs of organic/integrated fruit farms. The orchards were similar in microclimate, soil conditions and planting system.

Improved Longan Genome Assembly Reveals Insights Into Flowering Mechanisms
ABSTRACT Longan is an exotic tropical fruit crop and exhibits off‐season flowering induced by potassium chlorate (KClO3), though the molecular mechanisms remain unclear. We assembled a high‐quality, 441.5 Mb genome of variety ‘Shixia’, with a contig N50 at 28.1 Mb, 29, 325 protein‐coding genes, 26 telomeres and 15 centromeres.

The efficiency of flavonols in the setting of experimentally induced allergic asthma
Objective: Our objective in this study was to evaluate and compare the therapeutic potency (bronchodilation, action on ciliary beat frequency, anti-inflammatory, anti-remodelling effect) of a different flavonol derivates: quercetin, fisetin and morin in ...

Transposable Element‐Mediated Structural Variation Drives Flower Colour Diversification in Camellia
ABSTRACT The role of transposable elements (TEs) in genome evolution and phenotypic diversification in Camellia remains poorly understood. Here, we present an integrated analysis of genome resequencing data from 237 Camellia accessions and 11 de novo genome assemblies representing all major floral colour types.

Flavonol Glycosides From Cadaba Glandulosa
A new flavonol triglycoside, rhamnocitrin-3-O-neohesperoside-4′-O-glucoside was isolated from the ethanol extract of Cadaba glandulosa together with two known diglycosides rhamnocitrin- 3-O-neohesperoside and rhamnetin-3-neohesperoside. Characterization of the three compounds was achieved by various spectroscopic methods

ABSTRACT Solanum tuberosum L. (potato) is a key food crop, with its tubers serving as an important food source worldwide. Tuber development is a tightly regulated process involving the transition of a hooked stolon (a modified stem) to a tuber following the perception of mobile signals within the stolon tip. While genes like FLOWERING LOCUS T homologue
