NSUN2-Mediated m5C Methylation Impairs Endometrial Receptivity
Laboratory InvestigationImpaired endometrial decidualization is the primary cause of recurrent implantation failure (RIF). RNA methylation modification, especially NSUN family mediated m5C, is crucial for various physiological events, such as maternal-to-zygotic transition, gametogenesis, embryonic development, organismal lifespan, and cell cycle.

Doxorubicin (DOX)-induced myocardial cardiotoxicity (DIC) severely limits its clinical application, and there is no optimal therapeutic agent available. Recent studies revealed that activation of BNIP3-mediated mitophagy and the inhibition of m5C RNA methylation played a crucial role in DIC. Isoliquiritin (ISL) has remarkable cardiac protective effect.

Dynamic landscape and regulation of m5C methylation in human tissues
Science China Life Sciences5-methylcytosine (m5C) is a prevalent RNA modification that has various impacts on mRNA fate. Here, we generated 30 single-base resolution RNA m5C methylomes and revealed the dynamic nature of m5C of heart, muscle, lung, esophagus, stomach, pancreas, colon, jejunum, and rectum from 7 adult human individuals using RNA-BisSeq.

Computer Methods in Biomechanics and Biomedical Engineering
The 5-methylcytosine (m5C) is a common post-transcriptional RNA methylation modification and is involved in the pathological process of many diseases. However, little is known about the role of m5C in osteoarthritis (OA). OA gene data and the corresponding information were downloaded from the Gene Expression Omnibus database. Based on 36 m5C regulators,
