Diabetes mellitus (DM) is characterized by hyperglycemia. Herbal medicines, such as mangosteen rind extract (MRE) and mahogany seed extract (MSE), have antihyperglycemic potential. This study aims to evaluate the antihyperglycemic effect of the MRE+MSE combination, which has been standardised, and determine its acute toxicity.

This study was aimed to examine the effects of the level of mangosteen peel extract microcapsules (MPEM) on the amount and differential leukocytes of Cihateup duck. The treatments were tested consisting of 0% MPEM (T1), 0.5% MPEM (T2), 1.0% MPEM (T3), 1.5% MPEM (T4), 2.0% MPEM (T5), 2.5% MPEM (T6) and 50 ppm bacitracin as positive control (T7).
