A review of skin microbiome and new challenges to cosmetic microbiome‐friendly formulations
Microbiome‐friendly concepts offer new perspectives for a healthy relationship between cosmetic use and the skin microbiome, especially the interaction of non‐biotic cosmetic ingredients with the skin, requiring further studies to clarify the dynamics between the skin microbiome and different classes of cosmetic ingredients.

Anisaldehyde, a Melanogenesis Potentiator
Anisaldehyde (4-methoxybenzaldehyde), previously reported as a tyrosinase inhibitor, did not inhibit melanogenesis in cultured B16-F10 melanoma cells but rather enhanced it. This adverse effect of anisaldehyde was accompanied by melanocytotoxicity in a dose-dependent manner up to 2 mм.

Mechanisms underlying the protective effects of San‐Bai decoction against UV radiation on the skin
Combining conventional differential expression analysis with differential network analysis offers a promising strategy to uncover the mechanistic basis of the holistic benefits provided by herbal blends. Our findings demonstrated that San‐Bai decoction modulates multiple pathways—not only those related to skin pigmentation, such as ET‐1 signalling, but
