Pancancer Analysis of NSUN2 with a Focus on Prognostic and Immunological Roles in Endometrial Cancer

Reproductive Sciences
The significance of NSUN2 in carcinogenesis is gradually being recognized, yet a comprehensive analysis across pan-cancer remains a pivotal void in existing research. In our investigation, we capitalized on the UCSC Xena platform to evaluate NSUN2 expression levels and their prognostic implications across a range of cancer types.

NSUN2-mediated RNA methylation: Molecular mechanisms and clinical relevance in cancer

Cellular Signalling
Cancer remains a leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide, necessitating the ongoing investigation of molecular targets for improved diagnosis, prognosis, and therapy. Among these targets, RNA modifications, particularly N5-methylcytosine (m5C) in RNA, have emerged as critical regulators of gene expression and cellular functions. NOP2/Sun RNA

Genomic gain of 5p15 leads to over-expression of Misu (NSUN2) in breast cancer

Cancer Letters, 2010
We have examined expression of the Myc target gene Misu (NSUN2) in breast cancer. There was extensive copy number gain, and increased mRNA and protein levels, of Misu in approximately one third of breast cancer cell lines and primary tumours examined, irrespective of tumour subtype.

Mechanism of puerarin alleviating myocardial remodeling through NSUN2-mediated m5C methylation modification

Phytomedicine
Myocardial remodeling is a primary contributor to the development and progression of heart failure. Reversing this process is crucial for the prevention and treatment of heart failure. Puerarin (Pue), a traditional Chinese medicine, has been widely utilized in the management of cardiovascular diseases; however, its potential mechanisms for reversing ...
