Inflammatory and Immunological Basis of Periodontal Diseases
The periodontal lesion emerges as an evolving immunological battlefield, where host–microbiome interactions, dysregulated immune responses, fragile resolution mechanisms, and inflammophilic dysbiosis converge to shift the balance from homeostasis to unrestrained tissue destruction.

The protective effects of vitamin E and C against oxidative stress induced by sulfasalazine in the testis of male adult rats [PDF]
Background & Objective: Sulfasalazine (SASP) is a drug used for the treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases. SASP causes testicular damage. The aim of this study was to verify whether or not an additional supply of vitamin E or C or together prevent the

The Role of Wnt Signaling in Age‐Related Alveolar Bone Loss and Regeneration
The graphical abstract summarizes key signaling pathways involved in bone formation and resorption associated with Wnt signaling across young and aged long bone and jaw tissues. Levels of evidence are indicated as robust, moderate, or emerging, reflecting the current experimental support in each context.

Cellular senescence and SASP in tumor progression and therapeutic opportunities
Cellular senescence (CS), a permanent and irreversible arrest of the cell cycle and proliferation leading to the degeneration of cellular structure and function, has been implicated in various key physiological and pathological processes, particularly in cancer. Initially, CS was recognized as a barrier to tumorigenesis, serving as an intrinsic defense

Effects of Electroacupuncture at ST36 on Visceral Pain and Inflammatory Markers in IBS Rats
Electroacupuncture (EA) at ST36 significantly reduced visceral pain and colonic inflammation in IBS model rats. EA increased pain thresholds, lowered AWR scores, and downregulated key inflammatory mediators (IL‐1β, IL‐6, TNF‐α, TRPV1, NF‐κB). These findings highlight ST36‐targeted EA as a promising therapeutic strategy for IBS visceral hypersensitivity

Senolytics and exercise: Dual modalities for rejuvenating muscle
Abstract figure legend The role of senolytics on the heart and skeletal muscle. Senescent cell burden increases with ageing, disuse and disease. The senolytics dasatinib+quercetin (D+Q), navitoclax and fisetin, as well as exercise, eliminate senescent cells, reducing senescent cell burden and their senescence‐associated secretory phenotype (SASP ...

Treating age‐related loss of muscle mass and function: Where should we be focusing?
Abstract figure legend Perturbations contributing to the age‐related loss of muscle mass and strength. A, in the spinal cord, self‐reinforcing cycles of oxidative stress, mitochondrial dysfunction and inflammation mediated by cells, including microglia, contribute to motor neuron degeneration.
