An immunomodulatory hydrogel (iGEL) forms spontaneously upon subcutaneous injection, acting as a tissue‐adhesive depot. It releases anti‐rejection and regenerative agents in response to inflammation, suppressing T‐cell activity, promoting vascular repair, and restoring allograft function without systemic immunosuppression.

Tertiary lymphoid structures are immune cell aggregates linked with cancer outcomes, but their interactions with tumour cell aggregates are unclear. Using nasopharyngeal carcinoma as a model, here we analyse single-cell transcriptomes of 343,829 cells ...

Integrative multi‐omics analysis delineates a mitochondrial–immune axis governing neoadjuvant chemotherapy response in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer. Immune‐active tumors exhibit enhanced B‐cell infiltration and favorable sensitivity, whereas metabolically rewired tumors display oxidative phosphorylation dependency and resistance.

T cell exhaustion initiates tertiary lymphoid structures and turbocharges cancer-immunity cycle
Summary: Immune therapies represented by immune checkpoint blockade (ICB) have significantly transformed cancer treatment. However, the effectiveness of these treatments depends on the status of T cells.

Tertiary lymphoid structures in ovarian cancer
Ovarian cancer (OC) is a significant cause of cancer-related mortality in women worldwide. Despite advances in treatment modalities, including surgery and chemotherapy, the overall prognosis for OC patients remains poor, particularly for patients with advanced or recurrent disease.

Optimization of B Cell Responses in Human Immune System Mice Through Organoid Based Screening
Human immune system (HIS) mice show limited B cell responses to immunization. Using HIS mouse spleen organoids, this study identifies cytokine combinations and innate immune signals that drive human B cell expansion, differentiation, and class‐switch. Applying these signals in vivo through temporal separation enables antigen‐specific IgG responses and ...

Lymphoid aggregates in desmoplastic melanoma have features of tertiary lymphoid structures [PDF]
Desmoplastic melanomas (DM) have unique and challenging clinical presentations and histomorphology. A characteristic feature is the presence of scattered lymphoid aggregates. However, the nature of these aggregates is not defined. We hypothesized that they may be tertiary lymphoid structures (TLS), and may be associated with programmed death ligand 1 ...

Advances on tumor-associated tertiary lymphoid structures in immunotherapy
Tertiary lymphoid structures (TLS) are ectopic lymphoid structures found in non-lymphoid tissues under chronic inflammatory conditions in recent years.
