This study constructed the W1/O/W2 emulsion–based targeted therapy delivery system for ulcerative colitis (UC) utilizing LCC as surfactant for the first time. This multifunctional emulsion offered certain therapeutic advantages for UC, including targeted colonic delivery of active compounds, synergistic modulation of gut microbiota through combined ...

ABSTRACT Background Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is the sixth leading cause of global cancer death. The process of epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) is a key driver of early progression and metastasis in PDAC. Aim Our study aimed to explore the correlation between the expression of EMT markers and survival outcomes.

The schematic summarizes SESN2's neuroprotective actions after subarachnoid hemorrhage. SESN2 activates an AMPK/PGC1α/Nrf2 signaling cascade that reduces oxidative stress, suppresses neuronal ferroptosis, and improves functional outcomes; these effects were validated by genetic knockdown and pharmacologic inhibition.
