Biopanning the mimotopes of aflatoxin B1 and their immunogenicity [PDF]

Expression of anti-Z-DNA single chain antibody variable fragment on the filamentous phage surface

open access: yesBrazilian Journal of Medical and Biological Research, 2000
We describe the expression of an anti-Z-DNA single chain variable region antibody fragment (scFv) on a filamentous phage surface. Four vectors for phage display were constructed.

Biopanning data bank 2018: hugging next generation phage display [PDF]

open access: yesDatabase, 2018
AbstractThe 2018 update of the biopanning data bank (BDB) stores phage display data sequenced by Sanger sequencing and next generation sequencing technologies. In this work, we upgraded the database with more biopanning data sets and several new features, including (i) incorporation of next generation biopanning data and the unselected population where

Sheep polyclonal antibody to map Haemonchus contortus mimotopes using phage display library

open access: yesRevista Brasileira de Parasitologia Veterinária, 2018
The aim of this study was to evaluate phage display technology for mapping Haemonchus contortus mimotopes. We screened the PhD-7 Phage Display Peptide Library Kit with a sheep polyclonal antibody against H. contortus.

Bacteriophages as Therapeutic and Diagnostic Vehicles in Cancer

open access: yesPharmaceuticals, 2021
Evolution of nanomedicine is the re-design of synthetic and biological carriers to implement novel theranostic platforms. In recent years, bacteriophage research favors this process, which has opened up new roads in drug and gene delivery studies.

Application of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) in Phage Displayed Peptide Selection to Support the Identification of Arsenic-Binding Motifs

open access: yesViruses, 2020
Next generation sequencing (NGS) in combination with phage surface display (PSD) are powerful tools in the newly equipped molecular biology toolbox for the identification of specific target binding biomolecules. Application of PSD led to the discovery of

Selection of target-binding proteins from the information of weakly enriched phage display libraries by deep sequencing and machine learning

open access: yesmAbs, 2023
Despite the advances in surface-display systems for directed evolution, variants with high affinity are not always enriched due to undesirable biases that increase target-unrelated variants during biopanning.

Novel Biopanning Strategy To Identify Epitopes Associated with Vaccine Protection [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Virology, 2013
ABSTRACTIdentifying immune correlates of protection is important to develop vaccines against infectious diseases. We designed a novel, universally applicable strategy to profile the antibody (Ab) repertoire of protected vaccine recipients, using recombinant phages encoding random peptide libraries.
